The third annual (excluding a brief interruption from LOG 25) Lotus Ltd., track day will take place Monday, June 5, 2006 at the recently opened Autobahn Country Club (www.AutobahnCountryClub.net) in scenic Joliet, Illinois. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as previous events and the driving even more exciting. We will use the full 3.56-mile circuit at Autobahn with its 40-feet wide straights and 21 turns. What better way to spend a Monday? We will have complimentary instructors on hand for all drivers.

The price, $235, is the same as previous years. How about that for no inflation? The same rules apply including limiting the number of cars so we all get plenty of track time. Like the previous Lotus Ltd. track days, we will have tech inspections the evening before at a local hotel and, for any stragglers, at the track the morning of the event.

For those of you worried about hotel accommodations, Lotus Ltd. has reserved a block of discounted rooms for June 4th at both the Hampton Inn (815) 725-2424 and Fairfield Inn (815) 741-3499 in Joliet held under “Lotus Ltd.” Both hotels offer a complimentary continental breakfast and are about ten minutes from Autobahn Country Club.
