Do you want to get the most out of your Lotus ownership experience? What better way than to join like-minded individuals who have a passion that can be shared through membership in Lotus, Ltd., North America’s largest Lotus club. Founded in 1974, Lotus, Ltd. has a very simple mission, to enhance the ownership experience of Lotus owners of all Lotus models through a variety of club activities and features that include an annual national meeting, an informative web site and the bi-monthly club magazine, ‘Lotus ReMarque’.
Lotus, Ltd. promotes official affiliation with individual Lotus car clubs located throughout the US that may be located close to you. These clubs conduct a variety of events that will meet the interest of all Lotus owners, including social gatherings, driver’s education events and concours d’ elegance. Local chapter affiliates have also developed close relationships with local Lotus dealers that will further add to your club membership and ownership enjoyment.
Each year, Lotus, Ltd. stages an annual club meeting named ‘LOG’ (Lotus Owners Gathering). Each LOG includes a variety of driving instruction, social and educational events, and are staged over several days, usually in the summer or fall in cities that take advantage of unique locations and facilities. The first LOG was held in 1980 with LOG’s for the last few years held in St. Louis, Dallas, Snowmass/Aspen, Indianapolis and Birmingham.
Lotus, Ltd. enjoys a close relationship with Lotus Cars in Hethel, as well as LCU (the US distributor) in Atlanta. Additional, noteworthy partners are Classic Team Lotus in Hethel (CTL prepares and races several Formula 1 cars in European historic events) and Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, where the largest collection of Lotus race cars in the world is on display. As a result of these and other associations, LOG events always feature luminaries who have been associated with Lotus road car production, vintage restoration and race car activities throughout the history of the company.
